Batasiolo, BARBERA D'ASTI DOCG, 750 ml, Still Red Dry Wine Barbera

£14.54

Distinctive Features: Barbera d'Asti DOCG is a prime red wine, which offers pleasant aromas of cherry, blackberry, red fruits to the nose. On the palate it is full-bodied, rightly tannic and persistent.
Vinification: The grapes, harvested manually from the estate's vineyards in early October, are de-stemmed and left to ferment in steel barrels for about 10-12 days. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the wine rests in stainless steel tanks until it is bottled.
Grape Type: Barbera is a much appreciated wine which acquires value and remains one of the most debated varieties on Piedmontese tables. Its characteristics are its medium-long vegetative cycle, its very high acidity and a dark and intense colour. The wine that "dirties the glass" and has always accompanied friendly meals.
Territory: The emblem of Piedmontese taste, of outdoor dining and informal tables. A bottle that never goes out of fashion for its authenticity and flavours
