£31.26

Distinctive Features: Barolo that is good to drink, formal and distinguished but still convivial, intense and ready from the start. Ideal for Sunday family meals, it is the perfect wine to choose when you are seeking results regardless of the cost.
Vinification: After careful selection from the vineyards in the production region, the grapes are destemmed, macerated and left to ferment on the skins for at least 10-12 days in steel tanks, at a controlled temperature, with regular pumping over. It is aged in French oak casks followed by ageing in stainless steel vats. Refining continues in the bottle after this time.
Grape Type: Rightly dubbed the Italian "King of Wines", Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes only grown in the Barolo production area. Thin skin, long vegetative cycle, light colour and noble astringency are the predominant varietal characteristics in Piedmont.
”Classic” Barolo: The beauty of Barolo DOCG is in its ability to tell different stories in the same glass. Although individual vineyards are more popular, it is in their blending that the true mastery of a winegrower is expressed in the ability to give each one a voice and ensure that a proud and resolute wine is offered year after year, properly calibrated in all its aspects and relatively easy to enjoy.
Brand: Human experience, tradition, research and innovation – strong of the founding values of Batasiolo, the age-old wine-making tradition becomes contemporary excellence.
