Distinctive Features: Langhe Doc Nebbiolo is a wine that can accompany an entire meal finding the perfect match with pasta dishes, risotto, white and red meats and savory cheeses. It presents itself to the eye with its ruby red characteristic, to the nose it is delicate and fresh. To the palate it has good intensity, persistence and pleasantly tannic.
Vinification: After harvesting in October, the Nebbiolo grapes are de-stemmed and left to ferment on the skins for about 10 days in steel tanks, at a controlled temperature with periodic replacements. This is followed by a period of maturation in large Slavonian oak barrels and subsequently in stainless steel tanks, to then complete the refinement in bottles.
Grape Type: The variety is the symbol of the region famous for its black berry with thin skin, high tannins sustained acidity. A cluster with a slow vegetative cycle, which in the best years guarantees full-bodied and long-lasting wines. Many think that its name derives from the "mists" that cover the vineyards in autumn at the time of harvest.

The name "Langhe" was assigned shortly before the 2000s, and since then many producers have presented their version of Nebbiolo .
