Distinctive Features : Brilliance, Brightness and Amplitude are the peculiar characteristics of Sunsì, a wine with a first tropical impact, but with a distinct herbaceous and bitter vein on the finish. A very fine white suitable for any type of occasion.
Vinification: The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed, and then macerated in cold temperature for 24-48 hours. The must obtained is subjected to a soft pressing; after a first racking, the wine is left to ferment on fine lees, where it is periodically stirred. Refinement takes place in stainless steel tanks.
Grape Type: These two international varieties are widely used in Italy for the production of quality wines. The aromatic variety of Sauvignon Blanc has a high acidity, a short vegetative cycle and prefers a cool climate. The Chardonnay instead takes its cue from the climate where it is grown, typically presenting fragrances and flavours often benefiting from the effects of malolactic fermentation.
Territory: The alternation of marly, calcareous, sandy and clayey soils makes many of the Piedmontese whites labeled as Langhe DOC competitive . The blend differs according to the site of cultivation. By assembling these two varieties, the producer transmits the typical character of Piedmontese dry white wine , endowed with aroma and sapidity, with medium body and bitter finish.
Brand: Human experience, tradition, research and innovation – strong of the founding values of Batasiolo, the age-old wine-making tradition becomes contemporary excellence.
