This vintage of Musar was described as powerful on release and still powerful in its third decade. The winter had been colder than usual, but flowering came on time and there was no frost in the Bekaa Valley. The harvested fruit were high in sugars with good ripeness and acidity. A typical blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan, this 75cl bottle is a great representation of the region.
