The production area is located just outside the Montalcino (Siena) area, on the high hills of Poggio del Sasso, which translates as “pebbles peak”.
This wine is deep purple/red in colour. The dominant bouquet is of fresh red fruits especially cherries, mingled with violet notes.
Ideal with duck ragu or game pie with cranberries & chestnuts
