Light gold in colour with hints of green. The nose is dominated by notes of citrus, candied quince, gingerbread and dried apricot.
On the palate, the balance is superb and the sweetness is perfectly enhanced by a nice acidity and a long finish. A wine to drink now or to keep for several years, it will age beautifully.
Hand-picked Botrytis affected Sémillon and Muscadelle, about 10% of the blend, from vines over 45 years old are used to make this intense bright gold, rich wine with amazing aromas. Fermented then aged for over a year in new French oak barrels, the wine exhibits toasted bread, honey, date-palm fruits and roasted pistachio.
