Made from the Baga grape, the most widely planted in the Bairrada region of Portugal, blended with Shiraz. The grapes are harvested early; whilst the acidity is bright and tannins less developed, a secondary fermentation in tank adds sparkle to the wine. Pale, rose-petal-pink; the wine shows aromas of apple, pear and raspberry with notes of toasted bread.
