IDEAL FOR VINES: Principi di Butera is made up of 320 hectares, of which 170 are planted with vines. The vineyards enjoy idyllic conditions nurtured with a coastal breeze to grow Nero d'Avola and Insolia grapes, used to create wines filled with sunshine
SURYA ROSSO: 100% Nero d'Avola grapes are vinified separately and fermented for two weeks at a controlled temperature of 26-30°C. After which, are blended and aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by further ageing in the bottle
BERRY AROMAS, SOFT TANNINS: This wine boasts an ample bouquet to accompany its intense ruby colour, offering hints of small berries with notes of vanilla and spices. The palate holds a considerable structure that's fresh with a lingering fruit finish
A VINTAGE TO ENJOY: Pulled from our 2020 Vintage, this Surya Rosso pairs excellently with flavoursome dishes. Enjoy it with grilled white and red meats, especially roast lamb, or with medium-matured cheeses. Best served lightly chilled at 16-18°C
