🍇 TASTING: This is a lovely, old-school wine, a classic Médoc with a preponderance of Merlot. An indulgent, suave and refined wine. The bouquet exudes aromas of red berries (strawberry, cherry), black berries (blackberry, blackcurrant) and liquorice. Balanced, rounded and pleasant on the palate it has a surprisingly full texture, some good sweetness, but overall this is all about red berries and brightness, with a hint of sour orange and a distinctive finish. Dense, with fine sweetness on the attack, a high tannin level, medium body, and good purity.
